Job Description (Role & Responsibilities)
We are looking for a detail-oriented Bioinformatics Specialist to manage high-throughput sequencing data and translate genomic findings into high-quality clinical reports.

* End-to-End NGS Analysis: Lead the complete bioinformatic workflow, including Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary analysis for various applications (WGS, WES, RNA-Seq, Metagenomic analysis, and Targeted Sequencing).
Clinical Interpretation: Utilize world-class databases to assess variant pathogenicity according to the guidelines.
* Genomic Discovery: Perform de novo sequencing and variant discovery, with a strong focus on Oncology (Cancer genomics).
* Software & Pipeline Optimization: Effectively use and optimize ready-to-use bioinformatics tools and commercial software suites. Experience with workflow managers (e.g., Nextflow or Docker) is a plus.
* Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, security, and proper documentation of genomic data within the company’s infrastructure.
* Continuous Learning: Maintain a commitment to ongoing professional development to stay updated with rapid advancements in genomics.

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

* Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or Molecular Genetics.
* Linux Proficiency: Solid familiarity with the Linux environment and command-line tools for managing bioinformatics workflows.
* Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience in NGS data analysis (specifically WES, WGS, and RNA-Seq).
* Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualization.
* Language Proficiency: Strong English skills are a significant plus. Ideally, you can study international guidelines and scientific literature with ease and possess the ability to communicate effectively in professional discussions.
* Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to correlate genomic variants with clinical phenotypes.
* Teamwork: A collaborative mindset to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
