About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master who is also a Jira expert. In this dual-capacity role, you will drive agile excellence across our development squads while optimizing our Jira instance to streamline workflows, enhance reporting, and maximize productivity. You will be the go-to person for both agile processes and the tools that support them.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) and champion agile principles of squads.
- Serve as the primary Jira Administrator: configure projects, workflows, screens, fields, permissions, and issue types to support development and business processes.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, Developers, QA, and stakeholders to improve agile practices and ensure consistent Jira usage across teams.
- Design and maintain Jira dashboards, filters, and reports (including Advanced Roadmaps) to provide real-time visibility into sprint progress, team velocity, and project health.
- Identify and implement process improvements, Jira automations, and integrations to reduce manual effort and boost team efficiency.
- Manage Jira add-ons, evaluate new features, and ensure system performance, security, and data integrity.
Nice to Have
- Experience with other Atlassian tools (Confluence, Bitbucket) and their integration with Jira.
- Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g., ScriptRunner) for advanced Jira configurations.
- Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator or similar credential.
- Background in fintech, trading, or highly regulated technology environments.
