Responsibilities:
- Host Scrum events
- Teach Scrum practices and principles.
- Managing the Scrum process in Agile methodology
- Remove Roadblocks (Solve conflicts and remove obstacles)
- Assist product managers in keeping the product backlogs in good shape in the pursuit of the product roadmap
- Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards after each sprint
- Implement product documentation structure (Roadmap, Action plan, etc)
- Control acceptance criteria, the definition of ready & done
- Providing reports on workflow, performance, and the speed of teams as well as the progress of each product
- Challenge the team to achieve the highest quality, value creation, and team engagement
- Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
- Help team in self-management
- Gather, address, and prioritize team issues
Qualifications:
- 2+ years playing the role of Scrum Master for a Software development team applying Scrum principles and practices in an agile fast-paced environment
- Understand the fundamentals of the software development process and iterative development
- Good knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices
- Good knowledge of Agile techniques such as the definition of done, user stories, velocity, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, backlog refinement, continuous Integration
- Must be able to lead the team to self-organization
- Must be able to facilitate discussion, alternatives, or different approaches
- Sound knowledge and experience of Agile work management tools (Jira)
Personal Skills:
- Problem Solving and Conflict management skills
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
- Supportive and calm characteristics
