- Build clustering models to segment and label users based on their purchase and gameplay behavior.
- Collaborate with product managers, game designers and engineers to translate data into actionable insights that improve gameplay, business performance, and retention.
- Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and data infrastructure for player, business, and gameplay data.
- Contribute to AI-driven features and projects, such as smart matchmaking and personalization systems.
- Monitor data quality, automate workflows, and ensure the reliability of analytics, warehouse content, and models in production.
- Support A/B testing, cohort analysis, and behavioral segmentation to guide game design and strategic decisions.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in AI or data engineering, ideally in gaming or consumer tech.
- Strong programming skills in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and experience with large-scale data handling.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines (Airflow, Prefect, or dbt).
- Solid understanding of machine learning, statistical modeling, and experiment design.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and address data and system issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with managers as well as technical and creative teams.
- Familiarity with Metabase or other BI tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience with game analytics, including player segmentation, retention modeling, or in-app purchase prediction.
- Passion for mobile games and a deep understanding of player psychology.
