Senior iOS developer – Afarinesh Royaye Hambazi
We’re hiring a talented and experienced iOS Developer to join our product team and help build high-performance, elegant, and scalable iOS applications. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust and user-centric iOS applications using Swift and the latest Apple frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to build new features.
- Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Maintain and improve existing app performance, stability, and responsiveness.
- Write modular, maintainable, and well-tested Swift code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow clean architecture and development best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with Apple’s development ecosystem and guidelines.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience developing iOS apps.
- Strong command of Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
- Experience with architecture patterns such as MVVM or VIPER.
- Solid knowledge of networking, concurrency (GCD, async/await), and memory management in iOS.
- Proficient with tools like Xcode, Git, and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong understanding of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG).
- Ability to write unit and UI tests using XCTest or similar frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Combine, SwiftUI, or other declarative UI approaches.
- Familiarity with media-related features (e.g. video playback, streaming).
- Knowledge of Core Data, Push Notifications, or in-app purchases.
- Exposure to analytics platforms like Firebase or Mixpanel.
- Contributions to open-source iOS libraries or apps.
