About the department:

Novo Nordisk is a global healthcare company with 101 years of innovation in diabetes care. Our LMT site, located in Barkat Pharmaceutical Industrial City, Alborz Province, began operations in 2020 and employs 160 people. The site handles the assembly and packaging production of Novo Nordisk’s FlexPen®, sold in Iran with modern insulin products. The position:

As a finance controller, you will:

• Annual Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process for the factory by coordinating with department heads and developing rolling forecasts and financial models to support strategic planning.
• Cost Monitoring and Efficiency: Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs to identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency, while implementing standard costing methodologies for assessing product profitability.
• Financial Controls and Compliance: Ensure robust internal controls over financial transactions and compliance, conducting risk assessments and implementing necessary corrective actions.
• Financial Insights and Recommendations: Provide insights and recommendations on cost management strategies and capital expenditures to support continuous improvement initiatives.
•  Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead a team of finance professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams, acting as a liaison between the factory and corporate finance to align financial objectives with overall business strategies.

Requirements:

To be our ideal candidate, you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Rahkaran, Hamkaran) and strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder interaction.
