Job Description:
A startup project is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager & Project Lead to take full ownership of our digital marketing strategy while also overseeing the platform's growth and success. A startup project is a dynamic and innovative mentorship platform that helps users connect with mentors, receive career guidance, and explore study/work paths tailored to their needs.
In this hybrid role, you will not only manage all digital marketing efforts but also play a pivotal role in driving the overall success of the project. You’ll work closely with the founders, contribute to strategic decision-making, and take ownership of performance metrics across the platform. This is an opportunity for someone who is passionate about digital marketing but also eager to step into a broader leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to attract mentors and mentees.Oversee the project’s growth by tracking KPIs and identifying new opportunities for platform development.Manage the platform’s presence on social media, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant channels.Take ownership of paid digital advertising campaigns (PPC, social media ads), managing the budget and ensuring optimal ROI.Collaborate with designer, content creator, and developer to ensure marketing strategies align with platform functionality and user experience.Implement and optimize SEO strategies to boost organic search traffic and user acquisition.Lead email marketing campaigns, creating segmented lists and optimizing content to drive engagement and conversions.Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to the founders, offering data-driven insights and recommendations.Act as the liaison between marketing, product development, and user experience teams to ensure the platform evolves in line with user needs and feedback.Build and maintain partnerships with educational institutions, career organizations, and influencers.Take responsibility for the overall success of the A startup project platform, with an eye toward continuous improvement and growth.
Skills and Qualifications:5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing teams or projects.Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media marketing, and email marketing.Proven track record of growing user bases and increasing engagement through effective marketing strategies.Experience working with digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze marketing data and use it to optimize future campaigns.Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to guide the project to success and manage internal and external stakeholders.Experience working with or managing cross-functional teams, including content creators, developers, and product teams.Ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for mentoring, career development, or educational technology.Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
