Finance director

Why do we need this role?
As the Finance Manager, you will be at the forefront of our financial strategy in a high-paced environment. You will lead all financial operations, create a robust financial strategy to support our hyper-growth trajectory, and ensure we maintain solid financial health.
What responsibilities does this role include?

• Overall responsibility for the finance function of the company
• Maintain a rolling cashflow and prepare management accounts on a monthly basis, with cost analysis to show trends.
• Create and maintain an executive dashboard with key KPIs for use by the CFO 
• Provide a budget update on a quarterly basis to reforecast the business position and provide ad-hoc reports and information when required.
• Provide and upgrade existing daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports on the financial performance across the business.
• Engage with department heads to understand the cost-base on a granular basis, and then implement a cost-reduction process based on this information.
• Attend weekly Finance meetings, demonstrating the company's financial performance and the finance functions performance to the Board.

• 7+ years of experience in finance roles, with significant experience as a senior finance executive in a high-growth Business
• Proven track record of scaling financial functions in complex, fast-paced organizations
• Expertise in fundraising, financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Exceptional strategic planning and operational management skills
• Experience in building and leading high-performing finance teams
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant financial certifications (CFA, CPA) preferred
