Job Summary:
We seek a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in crafting a cohesive and engaging visual identity for our internal and external communication channels. You'll work closely with the Corporate Communications Manager to understand project goals and translate them into impactful visuals that align with our brand strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Design high-quality graphics, illustrations, and layouts for a variety of materials, including:
Website: Design eye-catching website graphics, images, icons, and landing page graphics.
- Create engaging social media layouts and designs with a strong understanding of each platform's design requirements and best practices.( (especially for LinkedIn & Instagram)
- Conceptualize storyboards for social media content, potentially including filming short video snippets of office life or employee interviews using mobile devices.
- Edit captured video footage to create engaging social media content using mobile editing apps or basic video editing software for tasks like basic color correction, timing adjustments, adding text overlays, and incorporating music.
- Internal Communications: Design layouts for internal newsletters, reports, and other internal communication materials.
- Online Advertising: Design visually compelling banners and other visual elements for online advertising campaigns.
- Presentations: Develop impactful presentations using software like Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Stay up-to-date on design trends and best practices relevant to digital marketing.
- Ensure projects are completed on time with a quality product.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing website design, social media graphics, and other relevant work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar design software.
• Working knowledge of presentation software and basic video editing skills.
• Strong understanding of design principles like typography, layout, and color theory.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
