What You'll Do:

• Backend Development: Develop and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Database Management: Optimize database performance and manage data integrity using SQL (PostgreSQL) and ActiveRecord.
• Code Reviews: Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in agile development processes, contributing to sprints and iterative progress.
• Technical Planning: Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical plans.
• Client Interaction: Work with the team lead to understand client requirements and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations.
• Team Communication: Maintain open lines of communication within the team, sharing insights and feedback.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails
  • Strong knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL) and ActiveRecord
  • Familiarity with RSpec Testing
  • Comfortable with Git and issue-tracking tools
• Nice to Have:
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js
  • Experience with Docker and deploying applications to production environments
  • Knowledge of scaling applications with AWS
• Communication: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Personality: A proactive team player who can also work independently when required.
