As a key position within the Human Resources Department, the Internal Communication Manager is responsible for developing and executing internal communication strategies that enhance transparency, strengthen organizational culture, align employees with business goals, and elevate the overall employee experience across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communication strategy aligned with HR and organizational objectives.
- Build and maintain effective two-way communication between leadership, managers, and employees.
- Own and manage the organization’s Internal Communication Calendar.
- Draft and refine key messages from senior leadership, especially during organizational changes or sensitive situations.
- Produce high-quality content for internal campaigns, newsletters, announcements, and CEO communications.
- Ensure tone-of-voice consistency and alignment with employer brand guidelines.
- Manage and optimize all internal communication channels, including.
- Evaluate channel performance and propose improvements based on data and feedback.
- Design and execute internal engagement campaigns that improve morale, belonging, and cross-team alignment.
- Collaborate with HRBPs to identify culture-related challenges and co-create tailored communication solutions.
- Plan and manage internal events, celebrations, and employee appreciation initiatives.
- Develop clear communication protocols for crisis situations or critical organizational changes.
- Ensure aligned messaging between HR, senior leadership, and affected teams.
- Manage internal narratives to reduce misinformation and maintain trust.
- Define and track communication KPIs such as engagement rates, message reach, sentiment, and campaign performance.
- Generate insights and recommendations to improve communication effectiveness.
- Provide regular reports to the HR Director and leadership team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Communications, Business, Media, or related fields.
- 4–7+ years of experience in Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, HR, Employer Branding, or Marketing.
- Experience in dynamic, fast-paced, or transforming organizations is preferred.
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and message-framing skills.
- Strong project management and ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze communication metrics and generate insights.
- Proficiency with communication tools (Intranet, Teams, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Strong crisis communication capability.
- Ability to work confidently with senior leadership.
