As a Data Scientist, you aim to utilize your analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets. Then, this information will be used to develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges. You will collaborate with other teams to build and extend procedures, tools, pipelines, and systems necessary for productionizing insights and analyses.
Responsibilities:
- Develop dynamic models for interpretation and exploration of the mechanics of the Insurtech industry.
- Develop scalable tools leveraging machine learning and/or deep learning models to solve real-world problems such as time series predictions.
- Design, build, test and deliver new data science services and advanced analytics.
- Use predictive models to increase and optimize revenue generation and other business outcomes
- Partner with other teams (such as marketing, product, etc.) to ensure the right metrics are created and validate accuracy.
- Validate metric accuracy for internal and external reporting.
Requirements :
- At least a bachelor’s in physics, statistics, computer science, and other data-related majors
- 2+ years’ experience working as a data scientist or in other data-related positions
- Significant experience and expertise with probability and statistics, inclusive of dynamic modeling, machine learning, experimental design, and optimization
- Familiarity with source and data version control
- 2+ years’ experience in Python
- Experience in Computer Vision algorithms
- Experience in productionizing ML/DL models
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, and MongoDB.
- Experience with ML/DL frameworks such as pytorch, tensorflow, and scikit-learn
- Experience with visualization techniques and frameworks such as Dash, Streamlite and Bokeh
