About AIMedic:
AIMedic is an innovation-driven technology company committed to building next-generation AI solutions. We are launching an intensive AI Engineering Bootcamp to cultivate top-tier talent capable of developing and deploying AI software end-to-end. We are looking for passionate experts to join our executive committee and help shape this program.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AI Engineer with deep expertise in either Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Computer Vision to lead the curriculum development and mentorship for their area of specialization. This is a unique opportunity to blend your deep technical knowledge with your passion for teaching. You will be responsible for designing the core projects that will shape our participants' learning journey while acting as their dedicated mentor, guiding them from foundational concepts to advanced, state-of-the-art model development.
What You'll Do:
● Curriculum & Project Design: Design and create engaging, hands-on projects and course materials for either the NLP or Computer Vision modules of our AI Engineering Bootcamp.
● Expert Mentorship: Act as the subject matter expert and primary mentor for participants in your domain. Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and help them overcome challenges in model training, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
● Lead Technical Workshops: Host and lead in-depth technical sessions on topics like Transformer architectures, advanced CNNs, fine-tuning techniques, and model optimization.
● Collaboration: Work closely with other mentors (e.g., Backend, MLOps specialists) to design and build cohesive, end-to-end AI projects that integrate advanced models into real-world applications.
● Stay Cutting-Edge: Keep abreast of the latest research and industry best practices in your field and continuously update the curriculum to ensure its relevance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with deep expertise in one of the following two areas:
For NLP Specialists:
● Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of NLP, including text preprocessing techniques and word embeddings (Word2Vec, GloVe).
● Deep expertise in the architecture of Transformers (BERT, GPT) and their application in tasks like classification and sentiment analysis.
● Hands-on experience with core NLP libraries like NLTK, spaCy, and especially Hugging Face Transformers.
● Proficiency in using and interacting with Large Language Model (LLM) APIs, such as the OpenAI API.
For Computer Vision Specialists:
● Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of computer vision, including image processing fundamentals and object detection.
● Deep expertise in advanced CNN architectures like ResNet and VGG, as well as applying transfer learning with pre-trained models.
● Hands-on experience with core vision libraries like
OpenCV, Pillow, and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch for vision tasks.
Shared Advanced Skills (for both specializations):
● A deep understanding of
Fine-Tuning Open-Source Models, including techniques like Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning (PEFT), LoRA, and QLoRA.
● Knowledge of
Model Optimization & Quantization techniques to improve inference speed and reduce model size.
● Experience with formal
Benchmarking & Evaluation of AI models using standard frameworks like the Hugging Face evaluate library or EleutherAI LM Evaluation Harness.
● A genuine passion for teaching, mentorship, and fostering the growth of new talent in the AI community.
● Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
