Wallex is a leading crypto exchange company. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network DataCenter Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. This is a hands-on, operational role that involves designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade infrastructure systems supporting our mission-critical services.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure systems including switching, routing, firewalling, and wireless components
- Manage and optimize enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructure, including Ruckus access points and wireless controllers
- Configure and maintain MikroTik routers and enterprise-grade Cisco (Catalyst/Nexus) switching equipment
- Implement and manage FortiGate firewalls, with full understanding of east-west and north-south segmentation
- Set up, manage, and troubleshoot site-to-site VPNs, remote-access VPNs, and multi-vendor VPN servers
- Deploy and manage virtualization infrastructure based on the VMware platform, including vCenter and NSX
- Monitor infrastructure performance and availability using logging and telemetry tools
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure infrastructure scalability and stability
- Document infrastructure changes, configurations, and procedures clearly and thoroughly
- Support security hardening and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Evaluate and test new technologies and contribute to infrastructure roadmap
- Provide support for cloud-based networking and cloud infrastructure integration (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in infrastructure or network engineering
- Solid knowledge of MikroTik, Cisco, and FortiGate platforms
- Deep understanding of routing and switching protocols: OSPF, BGP, STP, VLAN, VXLAN, EVPN
- Hands-on experience with enterprise Wi-Fi systems, including Ruckus APs and controllers
- Experience with site-to-site and remote VPNs, including setup of various VPN servers
- Strong proficiency with the VMware ecosystem: vSphere, vCenter, NSX
- Familiarity with cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, and virtual network functions
- Excellent documentation and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
- High attention to detail, security awareness, and performance optimization mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience working in high-availability (HA) network environments
- Understanding of network security architecture beyond firewalling (segmentation, ACLs, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and backup network strategies
- Exposure to infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and Git (not required, but appreciated)
