Job Description:
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems on Microsoft Tech Stack like SQL Server/Power BI, etc
- Contributes to the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc in Power BI
- Perform analysis on wide variety of data and process improvement opportunities; uncover trends
- Effectively translate analytical findings into the language of decision makers; communicate findings effectively supported by visual representations.
- Partner with the Product Management team to drive requirements for new products and integrate data during product development
- Innovate in order to create solutions for real-world problems
- Finding contradictions between data and actual operation
- Choose the proper metrics for tracking and understanding current and future activities
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Requirements:
- M .s/B .s in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or other quantitative fields.
- More than 2 years of proven experience as a data analyst
- Extensive experience & mastery of Power BI and DAX language
- Proficiency in T-SQL and analytical queries
- Deep knowledge of Statistics & Probability
- Energetic, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and passionate about producing high-quality analytics
- Experience translating business problems into data problems and solving them.
- Flexibility and comfort in working in a dynamic organization with minimal documentation and process.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills – experience in writing and presenting comprehensive narratives on opportunity, objectives, goals, and delivery plan to customers and stakeholders
Plus:
- Good knowledge of python and its libraries such as NumPy, Pandas & Matplotlib
- Experience in working with SSIS & SSAS
- Knowledge in big data technologies, such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiar with NoSQL databases
- Experience in financial areas especially cryptocurrencies
