Experience/Skills:
- Expert in Python and good knowledge of at least one web framework.
- Docker and Docker Compose proficient.
- Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM) such as SQL Alchemy.
- Understanding of the threading of Python, async programming, and multi-process architecture.
- Knowledge of security compliance, authentication and authorization methodologies, and cryptography.
- Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python.
- Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
- Understanding of Redis.
- Strong unit test and debugging skills.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, specifically Git.
- Familiarity with design patterns.
- Knowledge of image processing is a plus
- C and C++ knowledge is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline or above.
