Role Summary
We’re looking for a Product Owner with 4+ years of experience to take full ownership of the product lifecycle—from defining the “why” and “what” to aligning cross-functional teams and driving impactful outcomes. You’ll be the key connector between business goals, user needs, and execution, ensuring that what we build delivers real value.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy to Execution: Translate high-level product strategy into a clearly prioritized, actionable backlog with well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Agile Product Management: Own Agile ceremonies and ensure smooth backlog grooming and iteration planning.
User Journey Ownership:
- Map and optimize end-to-end user flows.
- Identify drop-off points and friction in the user experience.
- Define and track UX success metrics (e.g., activation, conversion, retention).
- Collaborate closely with Design and User Research to validate hypotheses through interviews and usability testing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with Engineering, Design, QA, and Marketing teams to bring features to market effectively.
- Ensure alignment on product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
Release Ownership:
- Plan, coordinate, and lead product releases.
- Monitor post-release performance and iterate based on data and feedback.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Build business cases and ROI models for new initiatives.
- Use customer insights, competitor benchmarks, and market/data analysis to drive prioritization and feature development.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a tech-driven environment.
- Strong background in software or digital product development.
- Experience managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and working hands-on with issue tracking systems (e.g. Notion).
- Solid understanding of user-centered design and user journey mapping (e.g., JTBD, funnel analysis).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data to support decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to align cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
- Experience with product analytic platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel).
- Basic SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Working knowledge of Figma or other design tools.
- Previous experience in startup or fast-paced product environments.
