Senior Front-End Engineer

Wallex is seeking experienced front-end engineers to take part in implementation of our web applications.

You are joining a team of talented engineers with a high level of technical knowledge and passionate for on-time delivery of high-quality codes which affect millions of end users. So, you are supposed to:

Responsibilities

• Develop features and improvements to the Wallex website and other front-facing parts of Exchange product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.   
• You’ll work with Product Managers and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate new features within the product. 
• Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.   
• Consistently ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members.   
• Help improve our product’s overall experience by improving the front-end features’ quality in your team and features that benefit other teams.   
• You’ll help identify areas of improvement in the code base, both specific to your team and outside your team, and contribute to making it better.   
• You’ll learn, collaborate, and teach other Frontend Engineers. Everyone can contribute something new to the team regardless of how long they’ve been in the company. 
• Be able to take on complex problems, learn quickly, and persist towards a good solution.

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant experience.
• Deep knowledge of CS concepts, such as common data structures and algorithms.   
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, SCSS, Typescript, and JavaScript
• A solid understanding of modern JavaScript web framework concepts (e.g., how virtual-dom works)   
• Familiarity with ES6 standards, and responsive design
• Experience with PWA, MUI, Service worker, RESTful APIs, and web services
• Experience with React JS, Next JS, Redux, Contex, Hooks.
• Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and browser rendering behavior
• Proficiency in front-end debugging and testing techniques
• Experience with source control tools such as Git
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
