The Role
We are seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Senior Social Media Manager in Travel industry to own and scale presence across all major social platforms. The ideal candidate is a digital native with a deep understanding of internet culture and a proven track record of creating content that captivates audiences, especially in video-first environments like TikTok and Instagram.
This is a senior role for someone who is ready to lead, innovate, and make a significant impact on our brand's growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Growth: Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our marketing goals. Drive significant, measurable growth in followers, engagement, and community interaction across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Linkedin, Twitter, Twitch and etc.
- Content Creation & Editing: Charge on creating and editing compelling, on-trend content. This includes a strong focus on short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts), utilizing stock footage, and leveraging AI video generation tools.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate hands-on expertise with video editing tools such as CapCut, Instagram's native editors, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects.
- Trend Analysis: Constantly monitor platform-specific trends, algorithm changes, and competitor activities to ensure our content is fresh, relevant, and optimized for maximum reach.
- Influencer Marketing: Identify, negotiate with, and manage collaborations with influencers and brand partners to increase brand awareness and drive conversions.
- Community Management: Engage with our community in an authentic way, fostering a positive and interactive environment around the brand.
- Analytics & Reporting: Analyze social media metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports on performance, key insights, and actionable recommendations to the marketing leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in social media management, with a clear history of managing and growing accounts for a B2C brand or tech company.
- Portfolio: A strong and diverse portfolio is required. It must showcase successful social media campaigns, examples of video content you have created/edited, and quantifiable results (e.g., growth metrics, engagement rates).
- Platform Expertise: Expert-level, hands-on knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, including their content formats, algorithms, and community dynamics.
- Video Editing Mastery: Proven proficiency in at least one professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects) and mobile-first editors (CapCut).
- Language Proficiency: C1 level or higher proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, talented to create scenarios and interact with influencers.
- Negotiation: Demonstrable experience in negotiating and managing influencer contracts and relationships.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into effective social media tactics.
